OpenGov Integration
POSM City Sync connects directly to OpenGov via API, allowing your team to:
• Automatically sync inspection data, scores, reports, and videos
• Extend asset records with in-depth inspection history
• Run scheduled data syncs on your timeline
• Eliminate duplicate entry between systems
The POSM OpenGov Sync tool will upload POSM data to OpenGov from POSM Server. This tool will communicate via secure API to push scores and web report links to POSM inspections. Once configured, it runs daily as a scheduled task to look for new inspections and sync the data from POSM to OpenGov.
The sync tool runs on a POSM Server or POSM Web install to send the web link to OpenGov. The structural and maintenance scores calculated in POSM are also converted into 0-100 ratings. This sync can be set to occur weekly, daily or hourly depending on how quickly the user will want to see their inspections in OpenGov.
When creating an inspection in OpenGov the tool will first create a task with a selected user. This user information is pulled from the Operator Name field in POSM. It’s important that the first and last name of the operator matches the name in OpenGov. The operator’s department is also configured as a variable in the setup.
Once the POSM OpenGov sync runs it will inspections will show up under the Inspections tab of an asset.
The user may click on the linked attachment which will open the inspection in POSM. If only one inspection exists on the asset the link will directly open the video and observations page of POSM. If there are multiple inspections on the asset it will open to the session management page with that asset filtered showing only its inspections.
